look for youth mentors who have already
distinguished themselves through academic
accomplishment, professional achievement as well as
community service.
SCHOLARLY Our mentors have impressive
academic resumes, and often have — or are
pursuing — advanced degrees. We also
look for specific academic competencies so mentors
can meet the tutoring needs of our youth clients.
PATIENT Our goal is to find balanced,
mature and adaptable mentors who can accommodate a
wide variety of personalities.
IMAGINATIVE Creativity
and imagination is critical for our mentors, as it
enables them to connect with — and inspire
— developing youth.
RESPONSIVE We
seek out mentors who will understand individual
parent objectives and will work toward fulfilling
our parent client goals. Continual dialog
between mentors and parents throughout the
mentoring process is emphasized with all our
mentors.
